Welcome to Vancouver, sun beating down one week to rain and gloom the next. Remind me, how is it July? The key is finding the balance between spring and summer with some work-casual (mostly casual) wear. It’s difficult, but throwing in the occasional non-monochrome piece can really lighten up the mood – and maybe I’m cheating, but nude does not count as a shade. Today’s fit is for the days you need to look good, but want to stay comfortable.
Everyone loves a good adventure right? We sure do; so join us on a journey back to the days we were exploring Europe. This is the first of many blog posts about each of the ports we were at while we were on our 13 day cruise aboard the magnificent Carnival Vista (more about ship life in our post vista, coming soon). First stop, Trieste, Italy!
We are The Wong Collective – designers, photographers, travellers, fashion enthusiasts and bloggers based in our beautiful city, Vancouver. More specifically, our expertise lies in Interior Design, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Event Planning and Community Building. We have had the opportunity to hone in on these skills over the past half-decade and partnered with many individuals, businesses and organizations to bring their visions to life. We are entering @thisopenspace‘s contest #myopenspace to finally fuse all of these aspects together and bring Vancouver a one-of-a-kind concept experience that we have been dreaming of.
…wellington. Sorry, no white vans here but other must-have closet staples for the summer – I just couldn’t help myself to the title.
TGIF. It’s been a long week for the both of us with M settling back in Vancouver with jetlag and J staying behind in Europe.
Like everyone else who have seen these beauties around Instagram, we’ve been coveting a pair for quite awhile. No surprise that black and rose gold would be our colour combo of choice.
It has been a busy first few months of the year, but just like that, it passed by in the blink of an eye. If you have been following our Instagram (@wong.jpg), you’ve caught a glimpse of what we’ve been up to (which is more than meets the eye). Spring is in full swing with warm, sunny days making many cheeky appearances throughout the last couple weeks. What we wouldn’t give for it to stick around and replace the gloomy raincouver days!
