Can anyone spot the shocker in these photos? I’m not wearing black! Except for my shoes… that doesn’t count. The vibes of a parisian summer really come through when you put together outfits that play with colours other than black. But if you’re anything like me, I gravitate towards black items so outfits like these don’t necessarily just get thrown together – let alone into a suitcase.
First off, I am well aware how long overdue these blog posts are – I have this horrible tendency of neglecting the blog. I’ve had all the photos edited for way longer than I’d like to admit, but it has just been a real struggle to just sit down and write.
It’s the summer solstice! We finally get to say goodbye to spring, and hello summer. It’s about time, the rain last week was such a bummer. After spending a month abroad in Europe, I’m finally settled back in at home. Besides sorting through thousands of trip photos and editing away, coming home includes jumping right back into working on some campaigns for the summer.
Happy Wednesday! Trying really hard to post more regularly, but it’s a struggle with my current insane schedule. I have a million deadlines and things to do with everything else in life that blogging has been kind of sitting on the back burner – which I’m hoping will change after this semester is over. We’re planning some exciting things for the summer but in the mean time, let’s reminisce about traveling.
I realized the other day that I have almost lost track of the amount of cruise decks I’ve walked on. I am lucky to be raised by parents who have always believed in travel and seeing the world – it is because of this that I have been fortunate enough to have seen much of the world from aboard a cruise ship starting at a really young age. Our last trip was a little under a year ago where we did a 13 night Mediterranean cruise aboard the then brand new Carnival Vista. Thanks to the Vista, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to sail on an older ship again now that I’ve been spoiled with something new.
Settle in with a cup of coffee – this one’s going to be long, but I beg you to read until the end.
