The end of summer wind down has been insane for me this past little while. We wrapped up CONCEPT, finally got a quick little getaway to the Okanagan, started another semester (after only a two week break from the last one), semi moved out and started my new second job.
What to take from that? Life gets busy. It’s always busy.
Between my new schedule and my man’s already insane one, it’s been hard finding time to finally do this Oak + Fort haul that you have all been asking for. The weather here in Vancouver hasn’t been cooperating much either whenever we find time to shoot.
I’m really getting used to and loving this bare face look that my man has been encouraging me to shoot with. There’s no need to spend time “putting on your face” when you’ve already got one, right? The longest part of this shoot was me taking forever changing outfits in my car. I’m just slow.
We got some insane deals at the warehouse sale this summer, so for our 13+ finds (some not pictured and jewelry not counted) we spent around $300 total with taxes. Not bad for Oak + Fort, hey? My favourite find, which is kind of unbelievable, are those white shorts pictured below. I copped them for just $2. Yes, you read that right. Two.
