Ever heard of Tallinn, Estonia? Quite honestly, until booking our Scandinavian Cruise, I hadn’t either. You’ll find tourists in every city no doubt, but for some odd reason, Tallinn is still largely untouched by crowds of tourists. Quite frankly, I think majority of all the tourists in the city the day we visited came from our cruise.
A walk through Nyhavn, the most recognizable part of Copenhagen where buildings of different colours are lined along a canal is a must see, and so is visiting Tivoli Gardens, the world’s oldest running amusement park (Walt Disney even drew inspiration from here). There’s no doubt that you’ll fill your days in Copenhagen, we spent almost a week in total here! There’s a mix of lesser known places and the very well known ones, so here is a run down of stops you can’t miss.
These past few years, I have fallen absolutely in love with Europe. As mentioned many times before, the method of travel my family has always preferred is cruising. The way I see it is that it’s like a mobile all-inclusive resort that brings you to a new destination almost every morning. And who doesn’t love the sound of that?
Can anyone spot the shocker in these photos? I’m not wearing black! Except for my shoes… that doesn’t count. The vibes of a parisian summer really come through when you put together outfits that play with colours other than black. But if you’re anything like me, I gravitate towards black items so outfits like these don’t necessarily just get thrown together – let alone into a suitcase.
First off, I am well aware how long overdue these blog posts are – I have this horrible tendency of neglecting the blog. I’ve had all the photos edited for way longer than I’d like to admit, but it has just been a real struggle to just sit down and write.
