I definitely don’t brand myself as a foodie or anything like that, but I appreciate food. And I can most definitely appreciate a good event. And lemme tell you, I ate my way through this one.
Ever heard of Tallinn, Estonia? Quite honestly, until booking our Scandinavian Cruise, I hadn’t either. You’ll find tourists in every city no doubt, but for some odd reason, Tallinn is still largely untouched by crowds of tourists. Quite frankly, I think majority of all the tourists in the city the day we visited came from our cruise.
A walk through Nyhavn, the most recognizable part of Copenhagen where buildings of different colours are lined along a canal is a must see, and so is visiting Tivoli Gardens, the world’s oldest running amusement park (Walt Disney even drew inspiration from here). There’s no doubt that you’ll fill your days in Copenhagen, we spent almost a week in total here! There’s a mix of lesser known places and the very well known ones, so here is a run down of stops you can’t miss.
These past few years, I have fallen absolutely in love with Europe. As mentioned many times before, the method of travel my family has always preferred is cruising. The way I see it is that it’s like a mobile all-inclusive resort that brings you to a new destination almost every morning. And who doesn’t love the sound of that?
Remember how in my last warehouse haul post I said that it was warehouse sale season in Vancouver? I was serious. The annual Aritzia Warehouse Sale is back and is their biggest warehouse sale to date. Last year’s sale was huge (you can find that haul here), and this year’s is even bigger with an 85,000 square foot battle field. Shopping this annual event is like going to war with clothes and the rest of the female Vancouver population. You can expect 50-90% off of your favourite Aritzia brands. Thinking about going? Be sure to keep scrolling to find my haul and some survival tips.
The end of August means one thing for a shopaholic like me in Vancouver – warehouse sale season. The annual OAK + FORT warehouse sale is back, and it’s 3X bigger than last year (you can find that haul here). If you’re serious about saving yourself some big bucks and scoring some great deals at up to 80% off, be sure to check out the sale! For a sneak peek at what you can find this weekend, keep scrolling to see our haul from the pre-sale and some tips!
